It comes with a placemat full of unclear images and the Mirror Decoder mysteriously untwists the far stretched out images on the mat and on the cup, you'll see a new, cool image. Isn't that fantastic! I received the OOZ & OZ's Morph-O-Scopes Halloween Party Fun Pack to try out and believe me I was quite curious to see how it really worked. I placed the placemat and cup on the table and Sophia was then amazed how this funky image turns into a clear picture on the cup. Sophia started to color the images on the placemat. Then, she would start to move the cup back and forth playing with the images reflection. The optical illusion definitely plays with the imagination. She had lots of fun with this.

As we are getting closer to Halloween, we all want to make sure that our kids are safe while Trick-or-Treating, that is where Life Gear Halloween GlowSticks comes in handy. These are LED Glow Sticks, which are warm, non-toxic, reusable, battery operated and have a bright saturated glow to them. We were sent the Halloween Glow Sticks and the minute we received it, Sophia started to press the on and off button. They suddenly started to flash and she became so excited. Animal Planet Halloween Costumes Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

Alright, has your kids made up their mind on what they want to be for Halloween? If not, then let me introduce you to Animal Planet Halloween costumes. These costumes are soft, comfortable and completely lined. Your little ones will be warm an cozy while Trick or Treating. They come in a variety of animal designs such as Lemur, Monkey, Sea Otter, Meerkat and White Tiger and in the following sizes 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months and 3-4T. Just perfect for those babies and toddlers in your lives.

All of their costumes are so lovely, but we decided to go with the Meerkat costume. Sophia loved dressing up and was jumping around the entire house. She did not want to take it off. It is a two piece costume, which consists of the head and body piece. The exterior of the costume is made of a soft, smooth 100% polyester fabric and is very well made. Each costume has a satin lining that feels incredibly smooth against your little ones delicate skin. Both the head and body piece are securely attached with the use of velcro for opening and closing the outfit. It is easy to put on and to take off. The bottom of the feet has those adorable paw pads and gripping sole feature, to prevent your little ones from slipping. Nice, right!

Spiderific Halloween Wreath!

I am always in a crafty mood, but when it comes to Halloween, I get overly excited to create more crafts. I love door wreaths, they look so good and can be made for any occasion. So, why not make a spooky Halloween wreath. Wouldn't that be fun? Now, lets begin making our Spiderific Halloween Wreath.

Supplies used and needed for the Halloween Wreath:

Grapevine wreath

Black Tulle or ribbon (which ever you like)

Plastic Spiders-Black, Purple and White (or your own colors)

Glue Gun (Adult use this only)

Black or Spray paint (to be safe use spray paint outside)

Spider web

We went out side to paint our wreath black. In order for my daughter to participate in this project I ended up using regular black paint instead of the spray paint, since she loves to paint. Sophia had so much fun painting the wreath. Then it was time to dry off.

Once the wreath is completely dry, I started to tie the black tulle ribbon at the button of the wreath. I reached for my spider webbing and wrapped it around the wreath to fully cover it. Now it is starting took a little scary right, LOL. Then you are ready to place the spiders on the wreath. Sophia loved the glittery purple spiders we found at the craft store. They really look good. This is the part where I take over, since I will be using the Hot Glue to attach the spiders onto the wreath. You can arrange them anywhere you like or even use little plastic skeletons. Now, tie the remaining tulle on top of the wreath to hang it from. Take a second look to make sure everything looks the way you like it. If it looks great then it is time to hang your lovely Spiderific Halloween Wreath on your door. Voila! You are done!

Calendar/Weather Pocket Chart Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

Recently I was given the opportunity to try out the Calendar/Weather Pocket Chart from Learning Resources. Besides being a Mommy, Wife, Blogger and so on, I consider myself a Teacher as well. Becoming a parent, made me realize how important it is to find the best educational resources out there for my child to learn from.

Learning Resources, is a wonderful store full of unique educational tools. When browsing through out the entire online store, I came across their Pocket Chart. Now, I have used a few calendars on the little one, even making some myself. However, I have never seen a two in one combination pocket chart, which includes both a Calendar/Weather pocket Chart. We sat on the floor and had a great time placing the cards in their right pockets. Then we attached it to the wall in her bedroom. Sophia enjoys changing out the days of the week and even placed a Halloween Pumpkin card on the 31st, to remind her how many days until she can go Trick-or-Treating LOL.

The Calendar/Weather Pocket Chart allows each child to learn the basic skills of reading and learning the calendar. It also engages children in learning about seasonal happenings and weather with the illustrated chart. Here is a little bit about the Pocket Chart:

Biscoff Cookies Review!

Happy Halloween Baskets

Halloween is just around the corner and what could be better than to create some fun and exciting crafts. I just love Halloween, and it always makes me feel like a kid again. The little one is so excited about all the decorations, and all the candies she will be receiving. Before I continue, this project was selected by my dear Husband, who I give all the credit too. He sure put all his time and effort in making this an incredible crafty project for everyone to enjoy. Now, enough about all that, let's just start on our Halloween Project. Don't you love when the entire family can participate in crafty projects?

We will be making paper mache Happy Halloween Baskets. What you will need is:

Newspaper or telephone book pages

Flour

Water

Balloons

Paint

Scissors

Big Bowl

First, get all you supplies together. Blow up some balloons as these will be used as a base for our paper mache. Next, cut or tear strips of the newspaper. Then, in a big bowl add 1 cup of flour to 1 cup of water. Mix together until you get a nice smooth, glue like texture, adding more flour or water as you need. The little one will love mixing this together. Sophia had so much fun with the mixture, she thought she was making a cake. LOL.

Now, the fun, messy part begins. Dip your strips into your glue and begin to layer your balloon. Keep adding layers of strips and flattening your strips around the balloon until you almost completely cover the balloon.

Then, let the balloons dry. This may take up to 24 hours or your could get a fan or hair dryer to speed up the process. Well, of course the little one couldn't wait to see the results, so she woke up real early asking me were the Halloween Baskets ready to be painted. I was happy when they were finally dry, otherwise I would have have heard this sentence "Are they dry yet Mama?" And, if you have kids, you know what I am talking about. LOL

When the balloons are completely dry, pop the balloons and peel them off. Next take your scissors and cut and nice round top, or you can cut zig-zags, squares and anything else you can think of. If you had a knife or exacto-blade you could even cut out eyes and a mouth. It is all up to your own creativity.

Now you are ready to paint your Happy Halloween Basket. Grab your paints and brushes and go to town! Sophia loved painting her Halloween Baskets and wanted to add a little sparkle to her baskets by adding some glitter. It sure looked exceptional and most of all, it made her happy.

Alright, with Halloween just around the corner, we all need to have a little Pepto-Bismol around. How many times have you gone out, only to find out your cell phone, address book, keys or makeup is in another purse? That happens to me quite often, so I was thrilled when I heard about Miche Bags. It is a new unique line of designer handbags, like you have never seen before. Miche Bags are an interchangeable purse system, where you have a base bag and many stylish shells in which you can change the look of your purse in seconds. No more transferring all your belongings with every outfit change.

I received two Miche Bags to review, the small bag and the big bag along with the shells. The Miche Bag is a base purse, in which you can change the outside (shell) of the purse. The shell connects to the base bag by way of magnets. I am the type of person that thoroughly tests something, by touching and looking at each part of the item when I do a review, and I must say the Miche Bag really works. I tried out the new fall style Dani shell, which is of a metallic deep cinnamon faux leather with brown croc faux accents. As I was trying it out, my husband told me to run around and swing the purse to see if the shell would come off. Well, it didn't. The only way to detach the shell if you do it manually. The Miche Bag comes in a small and big version. Another shell that I like is the Large Abbie Shell, which is a black textured faux leather with floral pattern, yellow piping and exterior pockets. Very easy to change by just slipping the large base bag in the shell. Voila, and your done, now you have a new purse!

Bialetti: New Aeternum Ceramic Saute Pans Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

I love looking at pots and pans. Looking at them, you can just imagine cooking up something delicious. So when I received the new Bialetti Aeternum Ceramic Cookware line to try out, believe me, I was thrilled. I couldn't wait to see if they would pass ShowMeMama's test and receive my stamp of approval.

Let me give you a little information about the new Bialetti Aeternum Cookware line. They are eco-friendly and free of PFOA, PTFE and Cadmium. The pans are made of a new "nano-ceramic" water-based coating made of titanium and suspended silicate micro-particles. In Mama terms, it is one of the main components of glass. The pans are abrasion and scratch resistant. They provide a smooth surface for even cooking and easy cleaning, which I really love. I bet you will like them too.

The Aeternum Saute Pans, come in three sizes, 8", 9.5" and 11". Let me tell you, they are absolutely beautiful. The pans are a fire-engine red on the outside with a rubber handle, and have a white interior. I really love the color and these pans are just inviting you to cook. I love that they have three sizes because, while I am frying some chicken, I can saute some green beans in another pan too . Yes, more dishes to wash, but guess what, I am not washing the dishes. *Hint (Hubby's turn to wash dishes) LOL. Even if you do not like to cook on a frequent basis, these pans will invite you to cook more often, because the food looks so good in them. It sure gets Show Me Mama's stamp of approval!

In my house, we love to eat cookies. Especially my hubby, he is pretty much addicted to eating cookies and of course the little one, who usually gets one to snack on too. Now, just a few weeks ago I was given an opportunity to try out some cookies from The Protein Bakery. These cookies are wheat free, whey protein gourmet cookies.

We received The "O" List Cookie Gift Tin, which was beautifully packaged. The tin was full of an assortment of cookies, blondies and brownies. They were all neatly individually wrapped and ready for us to eat them up. LOL. Since, we are family that loves chocolate chip cookies, we decided to try the Chocolate chocolate chip cookies first. The very first bite I took, the chocolate chips just melted in my mouth. The cookie was soft and you could easily break it apart, and taste the freshness immediately. Best of all The Protein Bakery cookies are all natural, fresh home-baked, low in gluten, no trans-fat and packed with protein. In other words, you have found your healthy snack alternative for all your early morning or late night cookie cravings. LOL
