Biscoff Cookies Review!

If you haven't heard of Biscoff Cookies than this will be a good post for you to read. Biscoff Cookies are Europe's Favorite Cookie with coffee. They are "baked using the original recipe created in 1932. They are made with all natural ingredients, using no artificial colors or preservatives. They are vegan and contain 0 grams trans fat and 0 cholesterol per serving".  

So you can imagine how excited I was to try out Biscoff Cookies. I just love cookies and so does my husband and daughter, so I was eager to try them out right then and there. Oh my, they are delicious.  The first bite I took, the cookie was just melting in my mouth. The crisp texture, caramel flavor was addictive, and before you know it, I was eating another package LOL. These go great with coffee, hot chocolate, tea or by themselves. Each cookie is made with all-natural ingredients, not one single artificial color or preservative. Best of all, they contain no trans-fat or butter. Plus, with as little as 30 calories in each cookie, these cookies won't bite you back. How about that? Happy Halloween Baskets

Halloween is just around the corner and what could be better than to create some fun and exciting crafts.  I just love Halloween, and it always makes me feel like a kid again. The little one is so excited about all the decorations, and all the candies she will be receiving. Before I continue, this project was selected by my dear Husband, who I give all the credit too. He sure put all his time and effort in making this an incredible crafty project for everyone to enjoy. Now, enough about all that, let's just start on our Halloween Project. Don't you love when the entire family can participate in crafty projects?

We will be making paper mache Happy Halloween Baskets. What you will need is:

Newspaper or telephone book pages

Flour

Water

Balloons

Paint

Scissors

Big Bowl

First, get all you supplies together. Blow up some balloons as these will be used as a base for our paper mache. Next, cut or tear strips of the newspaper. Then, in a big bowl add 1 cup of flour to 1 cup of water. Mix together until you get a nice smooth, glue like texture, adding more flour or water as you need. The little one will love mixing this together. Sophia had so much fun with the mixture, she thought she was making a cake. LOL.

Now, the fun, messy part begins. Dip your strips into your glue and begin to layer your balloon. Keep adding layers of strips and flattening your strips around the balloon until you almost completely cover the balloon.

Then, let the balloons dry. This may take up to 24 hours or your could get a fan or hair dryer to speed up the process. Well, of course the little one couldn't wait to see the results, so she woke up real early asking me were the Halloween Baskets ready to be painted. I was happy when they were finally dry, otherwise I would have have heard this sentence "Are they dry yet Mama?" And, if you have kids, you know what I am talking about. LOL

When the balloons are completely dry, pop the balloons and peel them off. Next take your scissors and cut and nice round top, or you can cut zig-zags, squares and anything else you can think of. If you had a knife or exacto-blade you could even cut out eyes and a mouth. It is all up to your own creativity.

Now you are ready to paint your Happy Halloween Basket. Grab your paints and brushes and go to town! Sophia loved painting her Halloween Baskets and wanted to add a little sparkle to her baskets by adding some glitter. It sure looked exceptional and most of all, it made her happy.

Miche Bag Review and Giveaway-CLOSED!

How many times have you gone out, only to find out your cell phone, address book, keys or makeup is in another purse?  That happens to me quite often, so I was thrilled when I heard about Miche Bags.  It is a new unique line of designer handbags, like you have never seen before.  Miche Bags are an interchangeable purse system, where you have a base bag and many stylish shells in which you can change the look of your purse in seconds.  No more transferring all your belongings with every outfit change.

I received two Miche Bags to review, the small bag and the big bag along with the shells.  The Miche Bag is a base purse, in which you can change the outside (shell) of the purse.  The shell connects to the base bag by way of magnets.  I am the type of person that thoroughly tests something, by touching and looking at each part of the item when I do a review, and I must say the Miche Bag really works.  I tried out the new fall style Dani shell, which is of a metallic deep cinnamon faux leather with brown croc faux accents.  As I was trying it out, my husband told me to run around and swing the purse to see if the shell would come off.  Well, it didn't.  The only way to detach the shell if you do it manually.  The Miche Bag comes in a small and big version.  Another shell that I like is the Large Abbie Shell, which is a black textured faux leather with floral pattern, yellow piping and exterior pockets.  Very easy to change by just slipping the large base bag in the shell.  Voila, and your done, now you have a new purse!

Miche has numerous shells to choose from in which you can change the look of your purse to match your outfit within seconds.  You can even design your own original shell, by uploading your own picture and adding text if you want too.  It doesn't stop there.  They also, have a Miche Diaper Bag shell.  Wouldn't that make the perfect baby shower gift.
