Handmade Trendy T-Shirts!

Don't we all love it when we can create something so simple, yet beautiful. What is a better way to have it posted on your blog and share it with my readers. I feel that it has been quite along time since I have made something creative with the little one. So, it is about time to start. It is always nice to get the entire family involved in fun activities.  Daddy came up with this crafty idea. Alright, lets get started.
Supplies:
White Blank T-Shirts
Favorite Character Printables (or whatever you have at hand)
Fabric Mate  (Non-Toxic Super Fine Markers)

As always I had to run a few errands and of course the little one and the hubby came along.  I decided to drop in at Jo-Ann. yep, love them LOL. So, hubby and the little one love to stroll through the different sections and he found the Fabric Mate Markers. We end up getting two packages, and that is when the idea came about to make our own crafty T-shirts. Find a nice area to work at and have everything in order. Since, I am making these shirts for the little one, I asked her what she wanted and she wanted a bunny rabbit character. All you have to do is browse on the internet and use google search engine or yahoo which ever you prefer to find a ton of printables. How cool is the internet?
Make sure you have a table cloth on your work table to prevent any mess.  Now, place the printable underneath your shirt and trace the printable. Once you have completed the outline, your little one is ready to color all the blank spaces. Tell them to use as many colors as they like. This will make it so much brighter and will definitely stand out. Encourage them on. I was telling Sophia, she was a world famous fashion designer. When you are finished, set aside to dry. Once it is done, guess what, you are now ready to put your Trendy T-shirt on. Yep, you have made your own design and guess what your little one will look absolutely gorgeous in it and be proud of their own creation. Simple as that! Now, what are you waiting for, get busy and make one!

Sincerely,

Cute!

I did this once for one of my daughter's 6th birthday party. I found two 3-packs of Hanes white t-shirts. They were very large because they were out of the kids' sizes, so we decided they would be nighties.

I had a bunch of acrylic paints, so I just let the kids each have a shirt and paint it any way they wanted. They loved doing it, had a fun "nightie" to bring home with them and it was a big hit!

Such a cute and fun activity. You're right, very simple but fantastic. That's what makes it so perfect. My oldest just bought a kit to do this for $12, and you had to use the pic they gave you. This is much more creative. I think I'll be doing this with my four girls soon.

Following you back.

That's the cutest. I found out that kids love doing things like that. My middle daughter had a chance to review FashionPlaytes and design her own dress, and she loved it. I should get all of them the materials and things to do something like this. Very cute.

Thanks for following and visiting me and commenting. I'm following you as well. I hope you're having a great weekend.
