Lollipop Party Ball Tutorial!

Since I am talking about birthdays, why not include my lovely Lollipop Party Ball Tutorial as well. I wanted to add a little decorative piece on the birthday table, but I was looking for something unique yet catchy to the little ones. So I decided to make my own party table decoration. Lets begin.
Supplies:
Scrapbook sheets (any decorative sheets you like)
Scissors
Round plastic cookie cutter
Styrofoam ball (Any size you like)
Styrofoam block
Lollipops
Pail
Dowel Stick (or any other item that will hold the ball)
Tulle or Ribbon
Gather all your supplies together and reach for the scrapbook sheet.  Place it on the table and use your round cookie cutter to trace over it. Now, you will have made several circles. Depending on how big your Styrofoam ball is you have to trace a lot of round circlers to cover the entire ball. Cut as many circles out as you need.
Once you have all the circles nicely cut out, start making holes in the center of each circles.  Place each lollipop through the hole of each circle. When they are all done, start poking all the lollipops in the styrofoam ball. Make sure every inch of the ball is beautifully covered. Sophia had so much fun with it that she did not want to stop. Now that the ball is fully covered with lollipops get your dowel stick and poke it at the bottom of the styrofoam ball.  Set aside.
Place the styrofoam ball in the pail along with tissue paper to keep it secure. Reach for your Styrofoam ball and poke the dowel stick through it then place inside the pail. Start to decorate the dowel stick with tulle or ribbon. Place some more lollipops in the pail to give it an extra little touch. Guess what, now you have created a beautiful Lollipop Party Ball for any special party or event you can think off. My little one sure loved it and it was a hit at her party. Now, run along and make yourself one!
Sincerely,

I tried making this about 10 years ago, for my daughter's teacher. But instead of being clever like you, I tried to cover the whole styrofoam ball with the dum dums! Needless to say, it kept falling over!

Paper, now why didn't I think of that?
Lol!
